One of my most awaited session in our baking class happened a couple of weeks ago when I made a carrot cake and decorated it using royal icing. Everyone gets excited when we make a recipe that calls for decorating with pipping bag and tips!
Unfortunately, my royal icing was not stiff enough to hold its shape. My excitement got the best of me when I transferred the icing to a pipping bag and started decorating. I should have added more sugar to the mixture until it was a better pipping consistency.
